We've arrived! The 2:30 am wake-up call was brutal, but that goes with the 6:20 departure. Some of us stopped over in Atlanta and some in Miami and arrival in Tegucigalpa all before noon. A long day of travel, but the children were here to greet us with their happy faces and it is so good to be back. Geoff and Lynn from Kanata have joined us and we met up with Jane from Cincinnati at the Tegucigalpa airport, who has been with our team in previous years. It is crazy busy at the airport with other medical teams or Christian teams arriving.
Raul, who looks after us in our week here was at the airport to meet us and somehow we got ALL the bags and ourselves into the van for the ride to El Hogar.
We had time to enjoy some free time with the kids, got out a few activities and crafts for them.
